The Rustic Bohemian story

Welcome to The Rustic Bohemian Shop, we specialise in creating one of a kind hand made pieces for the bohemian soul. The Pieces I create and sell in my store are all handmade using traditional Kantha fabric from India & Bangladesh. Kantha is a centuries old tradion from the Bengali region of India, where old cotton Sari's turned incredibly soft with time are repurposed, hand embroidered and turned into Kantha cloth. I partner with families and charitiy organisations in India & Bangladesh to bring you beautiful handmade, sustainable Kantha. This Kantha is then turned into the beautiful one of a kind textiles, clothing and home decor products you find in my store. Your purchase from my store helps to provide dignified work to women & families in both India & Bangladesh.
