Kantha is a centuries old tradition from the Bengali region of India, where old cotton Sari's turned incredibly soft with time are repurposed, hand embroidered and turned into Kantha cloth. This cloth was then made into useable products like blankets and baby swaddles. I partner with families and charitiy organisations in India & Bangladesh to bring you beautiful handmade, sustainable Kantha. 

Through dignified work, Basha provides a sustainable livelihood for women at risk and survivors of trafficking. Women gain job skills, confidence and are supported in a healthy, healing environment. Their children are provided with noursihing foods and an eductaions. Basha -creating a society where girls and womens are empowered, valued and accepted.
